Delicious Homemade Spring Rolls


Spring is another common flour recipe consumed by all, it preparation is quiet interesting it requires small ingredients carefully steps in preparation. Now let move straight into it.

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR DELICIOUS SPRING ROLLS
We will divide the preparation into to 3 stages, one side will look at the batter preparation, another the the spring roll wrapper preparation and the finishing.

Now the BATTER for spring preparation
♦️ Take 1 cup of all purpose flour, 3 tbsp corn starch and 1/4 tsp salt, then sift into a bowl.
♦️ Use a whisk or Wooden spoon to mix the dry ingredients together.
♦️ Add 1.5 cups of water
♦️ Whisk well to get a smooth and slightly thin consistency of the batter without any lumps. You can use your hands to beat out the air.
Note the batter should be of a flowing consistency so you can more of the water or flour depending. Now we are done with the batter preparation, we move on to the Wrapper.

The Spring Roll WRAPPER Preparation
♦️ On a low flame, heat a non sticky flat pan, it should be slightly hot. Then, with a paper tissue grease the pan. Kindly note that, you repeat the greasing when the wrappers are sticking in the pan.
♦️ Now lift up the pan above the flame and put 2-3 tbsp of the batter into the pan then spread around gently in clockwise direction from the middle like pancakes preparation. Note, if they are too thick, they break while rolling and sealing. So you can add water if the batter becomes thick while preparing.
♦️ Then cook on low flame till the sides start curling up and the wrapper become kind of translucent.
♦️ Lift the spring roll wrapper with a spatula. Placing it upside down thus letting the cook side comes up. Then allowing it to cool down to room temperature. You repeat this process for the remaining batter.
The FINISHING
♦️ Prepare the filling according to you preference and fill them into the wrappers and fold it to your size choice and fry in deep pan of oil. Note: you will use some of the batter lightly one  to seal the folds. You can contact us to take you through the folding style.
Now serve it with some chilled drinks 🍹 or shito, etc.
