Today our midweek recipe is on ๐ฅ, this is a delicious, easy and simple recipe to prepare.
We will take you through two different kinds of Pancakes for which we are familiar with. From the pictures you realized that one look more ticker than the other for which some call it American cuisine and other is light in weight which we are very familiar with. Starting with the ticker plain pancakes.
INGREDIENTS
Eggs ๐ฅ
Milk ๐ฅ
Sugar
Self rising Flour
Vanilla Essence
Spices
Measurement
3 eggs
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of self rising flour
1 tsp of Vanilla Essence
1 tsp spices according to your taste
TOOLS and equipment
+ Mixing bowl
+ Egg whisk
+ Shallow fry pan
+ Fire
+ Small bowl
+ Measuring cups and spoon
PREPARATION
- Crack the eggs into the mixing bowl and Whisk.
- Add the milk whisk and add the sugar too and whisk it all.
-Add the sifted flour mix them evenly.
-Add the essence stir, add your mixed spices and stir.
- Make sure it neither too runny nor too tick.
-Preheat the pan, put your oil or butter into the pan, use your brush or tissue to spread it evenly in the skillet ๐ณ fry pan.
- Pour your mixture into the pan little by little make it spread in the pan gently and rounded.
-Allow it to brown and flip to the other side to cook and remove it. -Do same for the remaining mixture.
And you're done! This simple pancake is delicious even when served plain.
They are great for morning breakfast and super delicious with honey, butter and jam. For the sweet tooth, can even sprinkle some castor sugar with freshly squeezed lemon ๐/ orange ๐/ pineapple ๐ juice. Enjoy!
